National Protect Your Identity Week (October 16 -22, 2011)

October 16th, 2011

We'd like to say a big "Thank You" to Governor Bill Haslam for proclaiming October 16 -22 to be National Protect Your Identity Week for the state of Tennessee!  We're so proud that Governor Haslam recognizes the absolute necessity of identity protection!

It's so exciting to be a part of the national effort to promote identity theft awareness and prevention.  We have a lot of exciting events lined up for this week, including Secure Your ID Day, co-sponsored by the Better Busienss Bureau!

For Secure Your ID Day, we'll be shredding unwanted documents - FREE and on-site - with the help of Cintas Document Management's mobile shredding trucks.

Date: Saturday, October 22
Time: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Location: Corner of Lee Highway and Highway 153,
6401 Lee Highway
Chattanooga, TN  37421
(Former location of America's Thrift Store)

Drop off any sensitive or unwanted documents and you'll receive a bag of goodies from CCCS and the BBB!

It's not too late to schedule an identity protection event for your business, school, church, or community group.  We'll be hosting free identity theft prevention workshops throughout the month of October.  To schedule an event for your group, email or call 423-490-5620.
